Terms of Use
This English version is provided for convenience; the German version is legally binding.
1. Scope and provider
These Terms of Use apply to the use of the website scorix.io and the app Scorix (together “Scorix”). The provider is Dustin Friese, Skylet - Built to Perform, Hubertusweg 9, 53501 Grafschaft-Birresdorf, Germany (see Imprint).
By using Scorix or registering an account, you accept these terms. Deviating terms of users do not apply.
2. Services
Scorix provides football information: live scores, fixtures, tables, statistics, predictions, odds, news and video highlights, as well as features such as favourites, notifications, polls, a prediction game and a profile.
Use is free of charge. In the app, a paid Premium subscription (without advertising) can be purchased via Google Play; the terms and the right of withdrawal of Google Play also apply.
There is no entitlement to a particular availability or range of functions. We may change, extend or discontinue features, for example during maintenance or for technical or legal reasons. We provide paid services to the agreed extent.
3. Data without guarantee – no betting advice
Scores, statistics, line-ups, tables, predictions and odds come from third-party providers or are calculated automatically. We compile them carefully but give no guarantee for their accuracy, completeness or timeliness. The official information of the organisers and betting providers is authoritative.
Predictions are statistical estimates and no guarantee of a match result. Odds are for information only. Scorix is not a betting provider, does not broker bets and does not give betting recommendations. Sports betting is only permitted from the age of 18 and is at your own risk. Gambling can be addictive – help is available at check-dein-spiel.de.
News and videos come from third parties; the respective providers are responsible for their content. We accept no responsibility for the content of linked third-party pages.
4. Account
Some features require an account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Your details must be accurate; keep your access data secret and protect it from access by third parties. Each person may only hold one account.
You can have your account deleted at any time by email to info@scorix.io. Details can be found in the Privacy Policy.
5. Rules of conduct
Display names and profile pictures must not infringe the rights of third parties and must not be offensive, discriminatory, harmful to minors, promotional or otherwise unlawful.
In particular, it is prohibited to:
- manipulate the prediction game, rankings or polls, for example with several accounts or automated requests,
- read out content of Scorix automatically (scraping) or take it over into your own services,
- attack or overload the technical infrastructure or circumvent security measures,
- use Scorix commercially without our consent.
6. Prediction game and polls
The prediction game is a free entertainment offer without stakes. Prizes are only awarded if we announce this separately; supplementary conditions of participation then apply.
We calculate points and rankings automatically from the results. If data is incorrect, we may correct scores afterwards. Tips and votes that violate section 5 may be removed from the rankings.
7. Suspension and termination
If you violate these terms or applicable law, we may remove content, remove tips from the rankings and suspend or delete your account temporarily or permanently. We take into account the severity of the violation and your legitimate interests.
You can stop using Scorix at any time. You cancel a Premium subscription via Google Play.
8. Rights to content
The design, texts, graphics, logos and software of Scorix are protected by copyright. Club crests, competition and provider logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Reproduction or distribution beyond the statutory limits is not permitted without our consent.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act.
In the case of slight negligence, we are only liable for the breach of essential obligations whose fulfilment makes proper use possible in the first place and on whose compliance you may rely, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of use. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.
Unless the first paragraph applies, we are not liable for decisions you make on the basis of scores, predictions or odds, in particular not for stakes placed on bets.
10. Changes to these terms
We may adapt these Terms of Use with effect for the future, for example for new features or a changed legal situation. We inform registered users in advance of material changes. If you do not agree with a change, you can have your account deleted. The current version can always be found at this address.
11. Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law only applies insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the country in which they have their habitual residence.
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
